We were up at our cottage for the Holiday weekend. The weather was beautiful. My parents took the kids to the beach(in a wheelbarrow). They had a great time, and Owen even went in the water. I was not there and of course my mom let him go in his underwear. Jeff took our boat up to go fishing. Owen has been waiting all winter for that. Owen caught his first fish. It was a pretty big on too. He told everyone it was a record! Of course Jeff helped him reel it in.

We started to plant our garden. Owen is such a BIG help. He puts all of the plants in his tractor trailer and drives out to the garden. Today when we were outside I caught Anna playing with her shadow. Fun times! While we were up north she was a very Big help too. Here she and Morgan are helping Gabby with the dishes.

Last Friday (Gabby's Birthday) we had a very special day. We went to Green Field Village for a Day out with Thomas the Train. We got to take a ride on Thomas! The rest of the morning was filled with fun too. We took a lot of pictures with Thomas and we even got to meet Sir Topem Hat.

Owen' s 3rd Birthday

Owen had his 3rd birthday party. Jeff and I got him a Cub Cadet tractor. Of course it looks just like daddy's. He love to ride it all over the yard. We have to be careful not to put it in high speed, because we can't catch him. Of course we had a Thomas the Train cake and he loved that. I told Owen that when he was 3 he could go to the dentist. So, now everyday he wants to know if we can go to the dentist.

Outside!

Thank goodness it was warm enough to go outside today. Owen insisted on wearing his hat. He wouldn't go outside without it. Anna didn't care about anything, she just wanted to go out. Anna played in the playhouse with her cell phone. Last year my mom went to move our playhouse and found a family of mice in a nest underneath. Owen always went out to check on them. During the winter our house blew over. Now that it's back in place, the mice are back. We checked on them today, and the mama came out of the nest with about 1o very small babies attached to her. We put the house back down and Owen told me they don't want to get lost from their mommy. As long as we don't tell Jeff we can keep an eye on them.

We got kind of dirty outside today, but at least we had FUN!

Owen

Owen is really into Thomas the Train. These are his favorite Annie and Clarabel. It's funny that they are his favorite, because they are the only trains that don't talk or do anything else.

Hopefully in May(on Gabby's birthday) we are going to ride the real Thomas at Greenfield Village.

Jeff and Owen love to set the track up, and Anna loves to tear it apart. She loves to make Owen mad.

It's much easier on us when she makes her own meals.
